All customers are required to read these terms and conditions prior to booking a charter with Broadhaven Charters.
No charter booking can be confirmed until a deposit is received by Broadhaven Charters.
You must confirm, via email, your charter date and payment detail with us.
We show respect to our boat, the sea and the environment and we expect our guests to do the same.
All bookings and departure dates are subject to weather conditions. The skipper, at his own discretion, will prioritize the safety of his guest and crew and determine if the charter must be delayed, postponed, or rescheduled.
in the event that a charter is canceled due to weather conditions, Broadhaven Charters will reschedule the charter upon a mutually agreed future date.
Broadhaven Chartes, its agents or employees will not be responsible for any damage or loss of personal property aboard the boat.
All charter guests are required to wear their own personal life jacket at all times while onboard the boat. If you do not have life jacket, one will be supplied to you at no additional cost.
The skipper will reserve the right to return to home port at any time if he feels that the safety of its customers or boat is in jeopardy.
The usage of the all fishing equipment, including rods, reels and any other equipment owned by Broadhaven Charters, is expected to be retuned in good working order. In the event that any customer looses or damages any Broadhaven Charter equipment during a charter, that customer may be charged its full replacement cost.
Our charters normally depart at 9:00 am or at a previously agreed upon time. Customers who do not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time will forfeit their charter excursion.
All bookings require a 20% deposit before the charter can be confirmed.
All reservations without a confirmed deposit will be held for a maximum of 10 days.
Any charter cancelled by Broadhaven Charters due to weather conditions or mechanical failure will be rescheduled to a future mutually agreeable date. If a new date cannot be agreed upon, any deposits will be fully refunded.
A customer may cancel any booked and confirmed charter with a minimum of 2 weeks notification. Cancellations made with less than 2 weeks notification are subject to forfeiture of the deposit.
Broadhaven Charters will strictly follow a catch-and-release policy for all Bluefin tuna. Any record breaking line class tuna may be kept. All sharks will be tagged and released. Any tuna caught that has been injured and whose chance of survival after release is considered poor, will belong to the boat. In these cases, the customer who catches this tuna may receive a consolation prize from the skipper.
