Broadhaven Charters and her skipper, Pat O'Donnell, commissioned Safehaven Marine in 2007 to custom build a Genesis 37l.

She is a standard/short cabin version with a maximum aft cockpit that is comfortable and spacious. She also comes equipped with a full galley area as well as a comfortable spacious seating area for up to 6 passengers.

The Naomh Aine can easily reach a maximum cruising speed of 26 knots with her powerful Caterpillar CP power plant that can deliver up to 575hp.  She can get can an economical 6 gallons per hour at a normal cruising speed of 17 knots.

This boat has a strengthened keel with GRP plating on her chines and stem.  Her custom accessories include an insulated fish hold, a specially reinforced aft deck for mounting a fighting chair, a state-of-art Raymarine electronic package with an E120 system with twin monitors and an all-weather rear view camera.

Although the Naomh Aine is designed for leisurely and comfortable fishing expeditions, she performs exceptionally well in rough conditions.  Due to her stable and deep hull, this sea-worthy vessel can push hard into rough seas at 25 knots without slamming.  Click here to watch a video of the Naomh Aine being pushed to her limits.

While operating off the open sea on the Northwest coast of Ireland, the skipper and his guests can be reassured that the Naomh Aine has one of the strongest and best handling hulls in her class.
